Additionally, Alexa has particular experience working with survivors of sexual assault and relationship violence through her work with the VOICE Center at Montana State University. In the last year, she has gained interest in alternative methods of healing including acupuncture, meditation, and various forms of energy healing and body work. She believes in the therapeutic power of nature and the interconnectivity of all living things. In therapy, Alexa supports each client’s path toward an integrated, wholesome self through establishing and strengthening the connections between body, mind, and spirit through the avenues of therapeutic interventions including ISTDP, ACT, IFS, and mindfulness, to name a few. When not in the office, you can often find Alexa outside; spending time with her husband, Ryan, and dogs Boss and Nacho, tending to her chickens, taking walks, relaxing by the river, reading books under the trees, playing the piano, or watching a good show.
